Wayback to 2001 game


Hi guys! I started working on TORCS 1.0.0 cars from Speed Dreams by 5 June 2024, installing the TORCS 2001 game may have been impossible when I compiled it. When Eric stated that TORCS from 2001 had been closed and redirected to the dead TORCS website, this is what I remastered like 2001 Linux racing game style.
My website was created on 18 July 2024, you can wait until it is fully released by playing TORCS from Sourceforge since I played this game in 2017 in Linux Mint. Now, we are Speed Dreams but the TORCS project was almost dead since Berniw was laid off in this project. Speed Dreams project is not dead! I created the remastered site from TORCS 2001 but it is not dead also. Merely, I've converted cars from TORCS 1.0.0 to Speed Dreams but low-quality, and the engine sound was so familiar when Christos added a sound file from 2 January 2000. This car is not sound like other car's engine sounds.
By taking NASCAR screenshots looks 2000 TORCS model, I have modified it with AC3D and Blender to look like Christophe's model specials but it doesn't have wings. The wheel housing and the rest are different from TORCS 0.0.XX since before AC3D, a newer version of TORCS and Speed Dreams doesn't support the ".CPK" file.
I didn't know how I converted the module from TORCS '01 to Speed Dreams like a digital instrument panel (ex: the instrument panel is placed at the right place on the screen). CGGRAPH and older SIMU modules are not supported by Speed Dreams and the newer version of TORCS. If I read the "README_WIN32.txt" file to install only in Windows 2000, I can't and, when I install it on emulators like 86Box and Virtualbox I can install it because there's OpenGL support in any virtual machine and emulators. The TORCS 1.0.0 before 1.2.3 isn't supported when sound is not allowed in Windows 11 by PLIB and then freezes the game when loading or the sound is disabled during race by warning.
Especially since I'm on Speed Dreams from SourceForge.net in the discussion, I created Satriani Huyaer Roadster based on "Pagani Huayra Roadster" but it looks prestigious handmade car material and a fast-performance car. But Xavier rejected me when I converted the commercial video game "Assetto Corsa" from Steam, which is played and modded by MNBA on Patreon. I don't have an MNBA authorization (like Eric's agreement with authorization by VIPER when converted from NFS3 cars).
